Prostate Cancer and the Symptoms

When generally cancers may develop in anyone’s body, there are two types of cancers which only develop in men or women. Cervical cancer is a type of cancer which only develops in women. Prostate cancer is a type of cancer which develops in men since this cancer attacks the prostate gland which only had by men. Prostate gland is a part of men’s reproductive system. And this cancer becomes one of the most killer cancers in men, especially in men over age of 75. Men under 40 become less vulnerable to prostate cancer.


There are some factors which greaten the chance to develop this cancer, like the patient’s age, family medical history, and race. African-American men have greater chance to develop prostate cancer.
Alcoholic also have a greater chance to get prostate cancer. The consumption of high animal fat can increase the risk of prostate cancer too. Vegetarian becomes less vulnerable to this cancer. Or in other words, lifestyle affects the chance of prostate cancer developing. There are some symptoms need to be aware, including slow urinary stream, slowed start or delayed of urinary stream, blood in the semen or urine, leakage or dribbling of urine, bone tenderness or pain. Pelvic bones and lower back bones are often suffer the pain the most.

Just like other types of cancers, if left unchecked and untreated, prostate cancer can lead the patients to death sooner or later. Even though any treatment option can’t stop the cancer cells growth and heal the patients 100%, but those treatments can help the patients enjoy longer lives.
